This is a custom – I have no advanced info on the Wave 3 ships, but the TIE bomber is one of the obvious candidates. Here's my attempt to make the TIE Bomber something a little different than just a fighter with a lot of missiles:
The Ref Card (which would be used to make the maneuver dial):
Explanation of the Attack Run Action:
I got the reference card format off of 'A Few Maneuvers', and the creators' name escapes me, so credit to him for the idea. Comments are welcome. Side Note: I was working on an in-scale custom miniature of the TIE Bomber to print up on Shapeways, was nearly complete, then when I uploaded the prototype, found out it was going to be on the order of $20 USD/copy. I had no intention of selling them (no interest in undermining FFG, or putting a Disney bullseye on my head), but I'm not sure I think they're worth the money at that price

You could hunt down the old Micro Machines TIE bomber (I have a couple of flights, they are just about the right size) and, IIRC, someone was selling white metal copies a few years back as well. |

Excellent work on the cards! I really like the idea of attack run but think two attacks in exchange for a green maneuver is a bit powerful. What about allowing a reroll since you have to expend your target lock to fire ordnance and to my knowledge there are no abilities (other than Horton Salm) allowing rerolls to secondary weapons. |

I've built a few paper TIE Bombers from here: link They work really well, print in scale with the FFG figures, and look sharp. Thanks for the stats! |

MM TIE/Bs might be a little on the small side, but I can live with it for now. Might finish my CAD model and have just one printed for giggles. That should hold me until the real ones show up next year (if they do). Maybe I'll cut the green maneuvers down to the straight aheads, that might make the double attack seem a little less overpowering. As it is, most players would realize that directly in front of a TIE/SA is a very bad place to be. These are intentionally pretty weak on defense, so if someone invests 32 points in a fully loaded bomber, he's not going to have as many escorts for it, and it's a very inviting target for Rebel fighters. Also, Y-Wings would be pretty effective against these, as a hit with an ion cannon would prevent them from using Attack Run (they would never get to execute a green maneuver). Maybe I'll print these cards up this weekend and try a game or two with my son to see how the results look. Thanks for the feedback. |

Kudos on the cards, they look really good. I also like the concept of the Attack Run as unleashing heaps of Cluster missiles just sounds like so much fun! My only thoughts on change are the speed, they may be a little too fast as an X wing should be faster and would suggest a max of speed 3. Maybe they should also have their sharp turns in red like a Y wing. Giving them the evade ability is characterful for the Empire but maybe if they use it they cannot use their Attack Run ability in the same turn to reflect them jinking around. But I agree that people should try these out first. |

OK I didn't read the description of the Attack Run too carefully, it is an Action all on it's own! |

For 3d printing, you might be able to print in multiple parts and use that as a master for someone to produce a resin mold. |
