You need to go back to Johnny West, Major Matt Mason and the Knights for my time period.

Thanks,

Major Matt Mason was my favorite.

I had the Star Trek playset and the figures that went with it. The Star Trek figures on the color page are probably the 12 inch figures, which I didn't have. Thanks Armand, that brings back some memories.

I think that Meego made the Star Trek and PotA sets.

Wow, my buddy across the street had the star trek kit. You could put a figure in the transporter and spin a knob on top. You could then see the teleportation special effect before the figure popped out the back. Really cool.

I used to have a bunch of the star wars 3.5" figures. Remember playing with them in my tree house. Sadly, both the figures and tree house are now gone.

Brings back many memories. From the same time period I had the 12" GI Joe and Big Jim "action figures" and lots of accessories. As my brothers and I got older, my mom sold the stuff for $.25 USD and $.50 USD per item at yard sales. Much of that same stuff sell for a small king's ransom now.

I also miss the days of getting and reading through the Sears Wishbook Christmas Catalog. Those were the days…

I had, and still have, the Star Wars Kenner X-Wing, TIE, Advanced TIE, and Landspeeder, as well as assorted original figs.
I wanted, but never got, the MIl. Falcon and the various Star Trek stuff, too. I had Major Matt Mason and his space capsule, that rolled around the floor according to patterns programmed by plugging in various plastic "hoses".

I had the Star Trek Enterprise playset, or maybe it was a joint gift to my brothers and me. As noted in the description, the telescreen (viewscreen?) had 6 interchangeable scenes. My favorite was the space battle scene.

Yes, I'd like to see the Major Matt Mason sets if anyone finds links to those.

I have loads of Major Matt stuff: two Lunar base stations, a couple of crawlers, a uintred, a firebolt, a buggy and quite a few figures (including later japanese remoulds)

I'm pretty obsessed…

John I am stunned that someone who is a gamer could be obsessed. It's such an unusual occurrence in our hobby!
wink

My Dad burned all my Major Matt stuff when I was a kid since I didn't keep it off the floor.

Thanks,

John

I swapped my Major Matt stuff for cash to buy bits for my bicycle when I was 15. How stoopid was I ?

I have 'had' to re-buy it in later life…

Just such a fantastic toy, especially when it stuck to the earlier realistic stuff and had less of the aliens, giants and scorpio…

I had several of the Star Trek Mego figures, but alas no playset. Thanks for the post. I still have the Mego Batcave and Batmobile.

My older cousins had a bunch Major Matt Mason figures and sets. They were very cool.
