Who says we are extinct? Just because we evolved and interbred, doesn't mean we are extinct.

Technically Neanderthals arent human (Homo Sapian)

They are humanoids though I suppose

I think Neanderthals are now considered to be "human." I believe they are classified as "Homo sapiens," and we are now classified as "Homo sapien sapiens." I suspect this is because they believe that Neanderthals and Cro Magnons were capable of generating viable offspring together. Who knows. It's been a while since I've read anything on hominid classifications. But as the article indicates they definately killed each other in very tehnologicqally clever ways.

Latest genetic studies suggest that modern non-African humans have about 3 to 4 percent Neanderthal genes.
