Which vallejo paints were used? I need to paint Waffen SS for a friend and I've been dead stuck on it for a while. Want to use the same pea drop camo pattern on a bunch of other stuff and this tutorial really helps. |

Thanks for all the feedback guys its nice to get and gratefully recieved, Robby what does WETSU mean? I've being trying to work it out but my brains not functioning this morning! Oldnorthstate just do a rolling stones and "paint it black" the camouflage doesn't look as good over a black undercoat, but hey its just personal preference! Wolfprophet the 3main colours for the camouflage are 833 bright green (german cam" Saddle brown 940 Military green 975 I did try and include the colour on the bottles in the photos, but I couldn't get the full name in on some! It does seem a lot easier to get the colours looking good with vallejo paints, but I do still use a mix of new and old Citadel paints, and I've got afew miniature paints thrown into the mix. So thanks for looking, I'm more than happy to help if anyone needs any more info, cheers for now Russ |

Cheers guys I enjoyed doing it, I'm abit absent minded so remembering to take photos at every stage was the worse part of it! People seem interested so I think going forward I will continue doing them as and when I have the time or something new/different on the paint table! It finally feels like I'm giving something back to tmp, it feels good! People have being very generous with time, feedback and info when needed, so thanks again cheers Russ |

Please keep up the good work. But which pattern is this? Oak Leaf pattern or Plane Tree? |
bracken | 30 Nov 2012 3:32 p.m. PST |
Grandkenyon84 its oakleaf summer variation if I remember correctly! I'm no expert so I could be wrong, I've looked at so many different kinds on different websites that it kind of blurs after awhile! |

Cheers Windward! My German Heer tutorial is almost finished for anyone who is interested! If all goes well I should be posting tomorrow, then it will just be a long wait for fallschirmjagers to arrive! Then I can crack on with next tutorial. I've had more feedback than I expected from my tutorials, so I will continue with them for the timebeing! So thanks again for the positive feedback, it helps keep me focused. Cheers for now Russ |
