With a scale of 1/241 it is close enough, and only twenty parts :) Of course I glued them and finally gave a thin black wash: link |

According to the dimensions on the packaging ("actual" length 26.7m, kit length 100mm), it should be 1:267 scale. However, Wookieepedia claims the Falcon is 34.37m long. Revell's website says it's 4 5/16" (109.5mm) long, so that would be 1:313 or so. Still, it looks close enough. Does it come in different packaging in Germany? My one came in a foil packet, and all the parts were still on the sprues. |

I have it and it is about 3 1/2 inches wide and 4 inches long. The FFG one is larger 4 1/2 inches by 5 inches. Still I agree with above it is close enough. VR James Mattes |

Once we're holding both the Revell kit and the FFG kit, one is an earlier version and the other is the cool one with all the guns and big engines! |

My dealer had both packagings: the shown blister and the foiled-in box. Of course I was glad to see what I was paying for :) |

The Star Wars stats are maddening. Too many "official" sizes if you ask me, e.g. Tie fighters being either 6, or 9 meters long. A "little" bit of deviation there. |

The FFG Falcon comes with stats for the Millennium Falcon itself, piloted by Han, Lando and Chewie, and a somewhat more "stock" YT-1300 piloted by J. Random Smuggler, with inferior stats. Even if this Revell model is somewhat different to the FFG one, it'll do for a nameless ship. Cheaper than buying two Falcons, anyway. :) |
