Our first Great War Spearhead outing for a while, with my newly painted Russians strutting their stuff.. link This is a part of my Eastern Front 1914 project.. more to go, but it's a start.
Kind regards

Oh, I like this one! I don't think Gumbinnen gets enough attention as to its importance in both the Eastern Front and WWI in general. It's a very doable battle in terms of size and scope as are the other battles in this campaign. I especially like your use of 1/72 figs as usual. The Eastern Front has been where most of my painting has progressed. Keep the battle reports coming Robin. I love them.

Thanks, John |

Thanks John. I am already planning more action over our coming summer
I've been wildly distracted by other periods etc over the past year or so, but am now itching to get back into it. There are more Russians to paint to complete the force to match demands of the Scenario system, and I so like the look of the AH on the table that I think that a mere Regiment hardly does them justice, so there may well be a whole lot more of them making their way to the painting table
There's never enough!! Galicia here we come
Kind regards Robin
