Thanks for the advice on WOTR Heraldry and Livery. This is the first up of my new generals with a twin flag approach. More info can be found on the link below link A couple of early shots of Somerset
My hands and eyesight aren't good enough to do justice to the tabard so had to settle with just "blobs" of white, red and blue. I have reduced the Heraldic flag size from the orginal download from Vexillia but it seems a bit big. More research to follow |

What you have achieved here is impressive and hugely interesting to me. Thanks. |

Now then
. The flags by The Square for 15mm come in at 12mm. The ones on the Vexillia site are on an A4 sheet and therefore oversized by a lot (compared to The Square) when printed out at actual size (18mm) How big should the heraldic flag be, in general terms? |

Those look excellent, but if I might make a suggestion, try and match the blue, and paint the edge of the flag to match the sides? It really does make a huge difference to how they look, and is very simple to do. |

How big is a heraldic flag? How big is my ego and how strong is my flag-bearer
? |

These look great. They might add+1 for looking the part! A great period to fight. The Osprey campaign books have great art in them by Graham Turner. Martin |

+1 modifier always appreciated. Discounted by -1 for losing a lot net result 0. Yep, touching up will be completed once I have formalised the flag sizes. Ego aside I have now done one with a 12mm flag and it looks too small and as no one knows it will be "hat Looks About Right" on new prints until I find one that pleases Regards |

Not the main attraction, but the groundwork on those bases is very impressive and realistic. I feel like I'm on a tower looking down at real ground. |
