One benefit of working away from home is the occasional overnight hotel stay with a case of minis and time to paint. Used Tuesday night to finally get the last 30 figures for the second army completed

Downside to packing the car is leaving my paintbrushes at the hotel and now being separated by 90 miles. Luckily back down next week and in the meantime a quick trip to hobbycraft provides an emergency supply

Very nice. What size are the bases?

Hi these are on 30 x 30mm or approx 1 1/4"

I imagine you're basing for Bloody Barons, but I'm sure 2-3 of those bases would be good for Impetus, HC, etc.

They look brilliant – the wee bushes make them.

Yes, these are for Bloody Barons. I thought about impetus after reading Kev's blog but never seen it played. But as I have both sides my basing can fit what ever as it shouldn't have a negative effect; The units are 8 bases with a 4 element frontage giving a 120mm frontage the same as 25mm Impetus. Must admit that I do like the idea of vignette bases.
