It seems that the site "Les Sujets du Bien-Aimé" on the French Army of the 18th C., run by Patrice Menguy, is no longer accessible?

Let's hope it will come back in one form or another – it would be a real shame if this invaluable collection of period sources, references and bibliography were gone for good!

At least most of the general "ordonnances" are still accessible in this manner. I was really after all the uniform entries, of which by some quirk of fate only those for the Gendarmerie and Royal Pologne Infanterie, a.k.a. Orlick, appear to have survived…
