Has anyone used fantasy grounds or roll20 for a game ?

We are thinking of using it as a internet medium for rolling dice and mapping out a combat for supersystem, we will use maps screenshot from Bing and counters we will derive from found internet art..

I know this detracts from the modelling side of wargaming , but has anyone tried it?

Yes, it is a wonderful tool for RPGs. In fact, it can be used for running combat on the tabletop, just print out a copy of the battlemap.

Vassal gets more use for wargamers. Although it was geared for boardgames there are a few miniatures game modules for it (Car Wars, 40K).
