Does anyone know of a manufacturer of models for Taiwanese/Siamese 14-17th century armies. Not just elephants, but infantry/artillery, etc. Any scale is nice, but would prefer 28mm, as its the look I am after. |

I am planning on commissioning 28mm Siamese mercenaries as found in the "Armies of Angkor"
It will be a while though as I am still waiting on the War Canoes and Galleys; the oarsmen and paddlers; and fighting crews to be done. lohwand.blogspot.ca |

Thais of that period have been done in 15mm by Quartermaster USA under their line that starts with a 'C'. Since they were Shan or Chinese related, there is a strong influence in their uniform. I say uniform since artwork of the period have them marching in formation with the same weapons and the same colors of blouse and panteloons (sp). Altfritz's mercenaries for the Khymer are of an earlier era. |
