Jacovite 15mm

That would be Jacobite (for the avoidance of doubt).

The old Jacobite 15mm Napoleonics from the late 80s early 90s were awful.

I bought some Jacobite 15mm Nappies in the early 80s.
They looked like a 2D model that had air pumped into them.
Not noticeable en masse, but it was enough to annoy me while I was painting them.

Don't Know what the figures were like, but in the on-line catalogue he lists a 25mm Vauban fort for 52 quid (sterling). Anyone know who makes it and if it is available anywhere else – that strikes me as a pretty good price.

I had Napoleonic Swedes, Prussians etc.from Jacobite in the early 1980's as well as some ECW stuff. They were at least as good as anything else available at that time.

"They were at least as good as anything else available at that time."

Yes that's so, and as we know some of the stuff from that period has stood the test of time very well indeed.

I seem to remember the foot were better than the horse.

I still have some of their Rssians and Prussians,I agree with Brunton Boy.

artaxerxes – The company now selling them don't have a website at the moment, so I don't think they have a catalogue to download – I suspect you may be looking at the old Stronghold Miniatures site, who have sold this range to the new chaps who are now producing them ?
