I've got a couple of the British prototypes for Wooden Wars built and painted up.

The officer can sport a real fore and aft bicorn or a Belgic style shako. Infantry have the Belgic shako or the "Guard" bearskins. Although seldom worn in battle, they make a great distinction for the game!

Thanks to very good feedback from "Murvihill", my cartridge pouch design no longer has a Freudian look to it!.

Very cool stuff. My daughter & I bought into this Kickstarter. We are following Tom's adventures of shipping & FDA approval with eager anticipation. She can't wait to get her "knights".

Very nice. I see the comment about Kickstarter (knights???). Are the Napoleonics for sale?

"Knights" is what my daughter calls any kind of mounted soldier.

The kickstarter (which is now closed) was to raise money to get a laser cutter so Tom could make these himself. So once he gets that going & has fulfilled the orders from the kickstarter backers, I believe he'll be selling them to the general public.

You can see all the different French & British infantry, cavalry, artillery & officers both on his blog linked in his original post above, or on the kickstarter project page.

BC- I am hiring you as my new marketing manager! :)
Allen, thanks for your interest.

like BC said, currently working to get all set up and fulfill my kickstarter backer rewards, then I'll be launching my webs-store as well as propagating to other stores, etc.

Stay tuned for more posts!

That just looks fantastic . What are the costs per figure? I really want to use thes for some outdoor gaming.

Skull and Crown23 Nov 2012 6:07 p.m. PST

Old Tommie- you can see battle reports with pics on my blog. There are locals in my club that also use my Wooden Soldiers to play more conventional games using "Black Powder" rules.

Sir Samuel- I am aiming for costs will be around $10 USD per sprue of 2 infantry and $12 USD-15 for single cav(rider and horse). Artillery will be $20 USD per gun and 4 crew. I'll of course have "unit" deals
