Gorgeous. Are they the figures that Frank Hammond did? They look remarkably similar if not.

It's a cool set of figs, but not techinically "new". Hasslefree just acquired them from "Franks Toybox" a private collector who had them sculpted and sold them himself for a while before selling the line to Hasslefree.

Still, it's a nice batch of figs that definitely deserves the exposure (and potential line expansion) they'll get as part of the Hasslefree catalog.

Have these, got them painted by DPS in Hong Kong. They are magnificent figures.

Charging more for them than Frank did… Glad I got them from him.

Superb figures.

mrshasslefree15 Nov 2012 4:49 a.m. PST

Morning guys, glad you like them!

We do have to charge more for them than Frank did unfortunately as Frank was selling them for the love of the hobby from his home which we cant afford to do as we run a business with the usual workshop and staffing overheads including 20% to the taxman!…lol!

They are still great value for money, they are cast by Griffin moulds so nice clean castings. Kev is already converting the greens that came with the purchase so will be adding to the range shortly. As far as scale goes, they fit with the current HF ranges really well. There are some scale shots here

Here are some pics, painted by Conscript Greg (and very well done indeed):

Beautiful models but over $4.50 USD apiece for the rank and file is a bit of a shock to my system.

Cheers

Unfortunately too expensive for my current budget.

Altius20 Nov 2012 7:58 a.m. PST

Those are outstanding. I wonder if those would mix well with Copplestone's "Assault Troopers".

Uesugi Kenshin Supporting Member of TMP21 Nov 2012 3:00 p.m. PST

$65 USD for a 16 pack (not incl. shipping).

So about $4 USD a piece.

Space Ghost22 Nov 2012 5:35 p.m. PST

@Altius, they match up close in height, but are slimmer than Copplestone:

Nice, but too pricy for me at the moment.

Soldat25 Nov 2012 11:13 a.m. PST

I think I will buy Empress as they are just as nice and 4 pounds cheaper.
