This is a slight deviation from the usual knight heavy clashes I have had in the past. The Hungarians are nicely balanced in both mounted and foot, while the Wallachians are mostly skirmishing foot and light horse.

Terrain an speed can work as an advantage for the Wallachians. Report with photos can be found at the following link.

Can't help but think the Wallachs had a lot of elements committed to the left forest, who didn't contribute much. Thanks for the report.

Your observation is correct.

Both sides with low pip scores or priorities elsewhere, the skirmishers could only "pull faces" at one another.

Therefore in the epilogue I mentioned I would select a swamp next time. Out of sight and extra pip cost would no longer pose a problem.

Next report will cover a big battle game.
