Those tile AB linked are beautiful but expensive. A cheaper alternative are the houses from various Monopoly games. They can be bought on eBay.

Irregular do 2mm towns, villages etc. and they're quite good for what they are. Don't let some of the ropey paint jobs on the page put you off. irregularminiatures.co.uk

There are 1:700 building sets that are used with waterline ship models. Houses, industrial buildings and harbour piers etc
Plastic kits manufacturer is Sky Wave or Pit-Road .
I use them also to bomb with 1:600 planes :)

Phil: it will not be small? the Hind commander also uses ground forces, so i fear they will look oversized near the buildings
Allen:Yes they are also sold by Picoarmor i think

Pico (ozzy – I forget) has some 3mm houses (including burnt out homes), warehouses, and multi-story buildings. I use them for ACW naval shore installations/towns, but they could work for almost anything.

Pico Armor's urban areas are crafted from Monopoly houses and hotels. I talked with Mr. Pico Armor at a convention about this very thing.

Take a look at Skytrex's 1/600th WW2 coastal stuff:

There might be a few warehouses, oil tanks etc that might come in handy.

Outside of the ideas offered above – the naval ranges in 1/600 or 1/700 are probably your best bet for modern buildings – the only thing I can think of is the small range of buildings tucked away in the ACW 'Hammerin Iron' range, No. 7, by Peter Pig in the UK – might be something there in the form of the farm or warehouse type buildings for a bit of variety, perhaps……

My brother-in-law and I have started using paper buildings. We get them from the following website: paperterrain.com/. They come as 6mm scale but can be reduced down to 3mm scale without loss of detail. They are pretty awesome looking; especially if you want the ability of having ruined buildings also.

They do also have some 3mm-1/600 dirt roads, rail tracks and villages too,

there are 1/700 buildings put out by Pit Road/ Skywave that are nice & can be found on Ebay but are pretty expensive – there are always monopoly buildings and buildings from the game of Life – also all over ebay

Kokoda Trail Models 1/700 about $8 USD-10 dollars a house. 3D printed so they might make 1/600 for you if want.
