Internal storage cells for the smaller nasties, and a back deck with frontal armor plates for the bigger boys to ride on while those long, long legs get them to the front line. Should be pretty huge – IIRC he described the main body as over 6" long in an earlier update. The catch (there's always a catch) is that the project needs another $10 USDK or so by Wednesday to hit the required funding – but that also unlocks the grub swarms (which work well as Rippers), the Swarm Master, and the as yet unseen Overlord models too. The Overlord descriptions sound a lot like Cthulhu's cousin – he does like tentacles on his bugs. :)

Plenty of other biotech beasties on that page that will serve to add variety to a Tyranid army. Even some hapless human "alien hunters" complete with combat walker support for those who like to play underdogs. There are some not-Predators on the way as well, although I doubt they'll look too much like the movie IP – he's been pretty good about taking familiar memes and putting a unique twist on them so far.

Worth mentioning that the prices on this stuff are pretty amazing, mostly due to his trollcast plastic material. The big 6" tall Fiend model and the 4-5" tall Wyrm are only $20 USD apiece, at least during the Kickstart. The Drone (assuming it gets funded) is only $30. USD Pretty darn good for big plastic kits.

And made of 'ick'…

Those concept images give me the creeps!

It reminds me a lot of a Monster Manual "Retriever"…

Oh man…. I love that. Perfect addition to an Arachnid army for those of us who still play Starship Troopers.

That too – be right at home alongside a tanker bug, and some of the other smaller beasties have some crossover potential too. The Stealth Warriors (which are getting sculpted with wings, apparently) would make nice variant Hoppers, and the Queen would make a decent Brain Bug variant.
