So I wanted to buy the two Poleaxed source books. I am currently leaving in Sweden and my cards are US ones. I only have a miserable Maestro Card for my swedish account (not my choice). Well Paypall does not let me buy the Poleaxed resources withmy US card if the shipping address is Sweden. This is grating. Lance and Longbow have the issue also So 1) anyway I can get the Poleaxed source books in Sweden? 2) Were could I get them in London? I will be visiting for two days in December. Any place that stocks them? With respect KTravlos |

I am not a big fan of paypal. It certainly has its uses but the restrictions on it can be pretty absurd at times. Also the fact that someone can send you money if you have an account and you don't have any option but to take it or refund it and pay the service fee any way is ridiculous. I just deleted my paypal account not long ago for issues like this. I take credit cards so there really isn't much or a reason to have a paypal account. I'm sorry I don't have any answers to your question, I just wanted to empathize with you about paypal issues. |

Have you tried Caliver as they sell Poleaxed? caliverbooks.com/index.php I can't think of any shops that sell Poleaxed in London. Leisure Games & Orcs Nest are the only 2 London shops that I know of. There are 2 LOndon shows on the 1st December, The Toy Soldier Fair and Dragonmeet. |

Thanks both. I forgot Caliver. I will give them a try. A pity because I really like Vexillia as a company. |

Did you try contacting Vexillia about the problem? He's always been very helpful, top notch customer service guy. Seems like you could work out some way to make the sale work no matter what PayPal restrictions are in place. |

Can you load some cash into Paypal and pay using that? Then you aren't using the card. |

Got through from Caliver. This is not a vexillia problem. It is a paypal problem. I just wished Vexillia could also have a different way to buy online. But I can understand why that is not the case. fred12df, call me stupid but I am leery of paypal. |

Mr.Stephenson this really is not a Vexillia problem. I think you guys have an awesome company and are one of the top vendors in the hobby. But this time pay pal sold you short. And the only reason I posted this on TMP was because I wanted to make sure this was something that had to do with pay pal and not my account or something I did. I am sorry if people take it as a negative advertisement for Vexillia. They should not! This is pay pal issue. It is their fault. Not yours. KTravlos |

It is an anti-fraud feature. If the mailing adress does not match the billing address the processor may decline the transaction. This may happen with a credit card or Paypal. It is for the consumer's protection. For instance, let's say someone steals yoru credit card info. They can then have the item shipped to an address where they can claim the item. Naturally this shipping address will differ rom the cardholder's billing address. While this makes it inconvienient to have an item shipped to say a work address, it is for the card holder's protection to help reduce fraud. |

Have to agree with EB. The best way to handle this is to contact who you are sending funds to right away. You provide your shipping address to Paypal as the U.S. but the merchant knows that it is sending your goods to Sweden
simple. Having said this, a buddy of mine had his account locked. Can't get it unlocked for whatever reason (I suspect his account was hijacked). He doesn't use Paypal to this day. To be honest, I avoid Paypal unless I am conducting a sale. For buying, I really avoid it at all costs. Doesn't Amazon or some other entity have an e-pay service? I rue the day that Ebay bought Paypal. I really is an anti-trust issue. Went under the radar during the last administration. |

Then again, PayPal also refuses to acept orders to your billing address if it is a post office box, not an insecure street address. Apparently having someone chuck the parcel over the fence or leave it in the street is more acceptable than having you sign for it at a secure post office, on video. Muppets |
