The work of Mr. Silver Whistle is really superb.
You can see again the movie "Zulu" with little miniatures in his blog.
The terrain and scenic is incredible good.

Good call, Tango! I've been following Silver Whistle for a while and the terrain, figures, photos and everything are just fantastic. Anyone interested in wargaming should be aware of this blog, Colonial gamer or not. Pure eye candy.

That last photo is the Boer laager at the Blood River memorial – the wagons and cannos are cast from bronze so not sure we can use that as a source for colours!

Ha ha love it, like when wargame figures fit so well into a story line!!
The back drop adds so much to the scene

What rules are you using for the game?

I visited Rorke's Drift again this weekend. Always a good spot to walk round.
Disappointed to see the forces of South African PC-dom are starting to re-name it 'Shiyane' now – Rorke's Drift seemingly being too Colonial a name.

"Pictures, sir! Thousands of 'em!"

That's a really impressive table. I wouldn't fancy moving all those bases every turn though…
