Time to solve the mystery of those mysterious terrain pieces in games of Warhammer & Warhammer 40k. We've tested out some Mysterious Woods and Mysterious Waters markers from Gale Force Nine, designed to help you keep track of the various mysterious terrain features in your games.

What do you think of these markers? Would you use them in your own games?

A Fungus Forest should be composed of giant mushrooms.

Very true, but as the game mechanic for mysterious terrain is that you place the terrain and then find out what it is once your models get there during the game, its easier to use a marker rather than replace all the trees with mushrooms or whatever you rolled on the chart.

Giant mushrooms would make some great scenery though!
