Q – What other spider-like bots have you seen for 15mm or other scales, but that could be used with 15mm?

Thanks,

Dan

I spotted these on ebay a few weeks ago, they are in 1/35 scale but should do great for giant spider walkers in 15mm with a bit of effort, the last one is 1/20 scale so would possibly do for 15mm if you did some work to it as a gigantic walker spider bot type, they ship worldwide and don't cost too much!

Pondering a legged build now…

Wyrd has four options that I know of. (although some may be a bit too steampunk for your purposes)

Although they aren't technically spiders, necron scarabs (or similar) could possibly fill the role as well.

OOo, I like the top two spiders, but love that last spider beetle.

Steel Crown/Exodus Wars has their mining machine, which is quite large enough in 6mm to work in 15mm. The drilling bit is seperate, and might be better left off and maybe replaced with a turret. OTOH, it could be a delivery system for an anti-mole machine missile or something – keep those uppity Chewk runts in their place.

Infinity has lots of four-legged drones that will work in 15mm as well.

Chief,

I clicked on the link and then saw these:

Though not spiders, they sure look like tiny armed DRDs (Diagnostic Repair Drones – called that way in Farscape) to defend a ship or an installation from intruders.

I wonder how tall they are.

Here are some pictures of the M.a.K. Bug Tank that Kyn ell mentioned above with some 15mm stuff to give you an idea of size. I have several of these and while they are nice, they take some decent modeling skills to clean and assemble them. Mine have been modified with extra equipment and weapons. I plan to use them with my Highlander Studio Space Bugs that were painted by Chief Lackey Rich.
