I love the episode of Avatar where they get invited to a party for the King and his "bear". This launches into a discussion between the main characters as to what sort of bear he has as they rattle off a number of oddball "chimera" types. The argument is finally ended with somebody saying something to the effect of, "Nope, just plain ol' bear" to which all of them respond, "Huh, weird" or something like that. -Eli |

Now I need to see if my friend has figured out photoshop well enough to do a 'wolf spider'
same idea as that bear spider, but wolf-spider head on wolf body. Just because. Oh, CC? Don't forget the porcuswine (porcupine/pig hybrid) from the Stainless Steel Rat stories. |

I have a bunch of 28mm deer sitting around that I've been contemplating turning into alien megafauna. Not so much a hybridization but even something as simple as flipping a head upside down, adding some green stuff here and there an maybe converting hooves into toes. I even did this with some plastic orcs for a Pulp scifi project. Flipped the heads over and picked out different details as eyes.
