Their are few people who have played Necromunda who have not seen this image before. I have longed wanted to make a similar board for myself. But I have never had the room.
Since I am now building Necromunda terrain in 15mm I figured I might now be able to have room for this now.
So far these are just mock ups and I don't have any ladders, shafts, doors or anything else for movement up and down levels. I am not sure if I like the central pillar look of this or if I would rather simply make a smaller version of the first picture. Oh, I am still working on my original buildings and I will try and merge the two styles together. C & C welcome DZT |

DZT, Q – What's "Pocketmunda" and "Necromunda"? Thanks, Dan |

You need walkway bridges!, maybe you could make a smaller tower section and link it up with some of them, other than that it looks like its going to be sweeet! |

Ah. Looked up Necromunda. Interesting. And, when I looked it up on Google Images, I found this:

"Necromunda" was the gang warfare 28mm miniature game that GW evolved from its previous 'Confrontation' ruleset (unrelated to Rackham's fantasy skirmish game) which was originally published on the WD issures of October-December 1990. linklinkClan gangs battled for turf in the spires and levels of the Necromunda hive-world, a Social Darwinian nightmare where teeming human masses in the THOUSANDS OF BILLIONS lived in an ash-waste world depleted by millennia of industrialization and ecological devastation.
"Pocketmunda" is the neologism used to describe efforts by 15mm gamers to patch together something similar in our scale of choice. |

I've always liked Necromunda. Really like the idea of the underhive layout. The only issue I see with the mockup though is that each level seems to stand by itself. There's not the ability to fire from one level to another. If you take Kyn ell's suggestion of building another tower, now you've got a game! Two gangs trying to expand their territory into the others turf could make for some great gaming! |

The grand idea is to have at least four of these, my Electrical box buildings between, and perhaps a corrugated hut city in the "Sump" area down at the bottom. Catwalks of course would be strung between the different levels. Dan, It is my favorite game to play and I highly suggest if you get the change to play! The rules are free from GW and almost any handful of Scifi minis can be used for the gangs.
Pocketmunda was something I called my first forays into 15mm necromunda. |

Sounds really cool! How about pipes cut laterally, so that the outer-facing third or half is left open to access the figures? Example:

Necromunda is one of my fav games. Lots of room for character development in the course of a campaign (which could just be a load of ongoing games). Injuries, skills, scavaging, Mercs, Outlawing, tradeing. An excellent mechanism for post-apoc gaming. maybe possible to alternate central column with pillars/open plan floors. 4 different "towers" for ease of transporting and rearranging to give different game layouts? |
