I tried to get the players to wear welding masks to simulate the night condition on the Golan, but the players wouldn't go for it.

Great stuff! I wanted to play in your game when I saw it listed on the Fall In schdule. But, Sandy had different plans.
I'm also thinking of doing the '73 with IABSM.
How did you adapt the rules to 1970's equipment? Did you crib from Charlie Don't Surf, or something else?

Thanks! It's a little from CDS and some from Rock the Casbah and then tweaked from our experience playing. We're pretty confident that the results we're getting now are fairly accurate and we plan to publish them soon.

Thanks. Love to see the rules when you're ready.
As far as RTC is concerned, I thought it was based on TFL's
Troops, Weapons Tactics. What did you do to convert them?

We just crib some of the armor and strike values from RTC and modify them to suit our needs.

I think most of the scenarios in RTC are of a more appropriate size for IABSM anyway and that's how Jon and I play them. I tried Troops, Weapons and Tactics once and didn't like it, but I should give it another go.

It wears the mask and plays the game-or it gets the hose again…

GROSSMAN – that's classy! :P

Very cool game indeed.
