A report with photos of a recent game appears on my blog. We used 1/1200 ships and a lightly modified version of the classic Fletcher Pratt naval war game.

Lovely stuff – the nostalgia. And great to see the harbour walls in action – I've got some of them and a lighthouse and a fun pier…! Must dig 'em out and have a game – I really must. I'm inspired…! Oh and of course, the golf tees…

Thanks for sharing…

Great report! It takes me back to the Fletcher Pratt games my friends and I would play in a church parking lot.

Yes, great report. I had a lot of fun with FP way back when, but I don't believe I could game on the floor any more.

Nice report and great to see some "old school" naval gaming

Interesting, and well done scenario. The British probably did as well as they could with the forces at their disposal.Hopefully a submarine lurks nearby to finish off the BB.

Great report as usual, PP …

(you will have enough ships, soon, I think grin)

Strange I think both sides can claim a Pyrric victory in this one.

I would be tempted to replay it with Destroyers detached and see if the Cruiser in the attack makes a difference.
