That was pretty cool! How long did the games run? Any thoughts on the rules? Thanks, John |

The sessions were 4 hours long each. I had to strip down the rules significantly to try and save time. I got rid of drones, ADDs, and some of the special actions. I still need to reduce the number of ships to allow us to get more turns in. The first game finished within the time allotted, but the second could have gone a couple hours longer. It pains me to run a smaller game, as it is not as nice visually, but most players won't be willing to put in an 8-hour game. Having people drop out to be replaced by new people isn't good for continuity of command/knowing what is going on and what so and so should be doing. :( |
