They are the regular ruskies bodies with the alternate helmet. They are fine and they could be used to depict troops of a satellite/'brother country' mainly sourcing its equipment from Rusk' arsenals…but the sameness of the poses could be a bit awkward, what about releasing a couple 'unique' poses for this subrange? Possibly officers or NCOs…also, heavy weapon troopers could be equipped with older RUSK weapons no longer found in their big brothers' hands, something like a RPG-2 or a 'record player' LMG.
Or even a recoilless cannon!
Recoilless weapons are great 'retro' for SF, IMHO! |

They are based on the same figure poses. To be honest, this is the only way I can recoup my initial sculpt costs on the original line. The conversions are all done by me, so costs are minimal. However, I like the additional weapons idea, specifically the recoilless rifle very much and if popular will provide a suitable gun crew. Cheers Keith

You could also give the leader a more elaborate "Machine Pistol" like the Czech Skorpion.
And tilt his head subtly sideways as if he's signaling to the men following him. That would make him a 'different' pose witout forcing you to sculpt a figure from scratch. |
