I picked up my first Warlord this week (right), and have a couple of thoughts about them on t'blog…

I rahter rate them.

Clicking on the photo of the Relic comparison chariot, I've realised that I'm going to have to strip the primer- the Army Painter Bleached Bone I used, has abysmal coverage on metal and has really stuffed the wheels up, they look like sandpaper. :-(

Be fascinating to see your project develop Simon – I am still plodding away with my late Achaemenids. Though I will be distracted when Relic's Seleucid Cataphracts arrive – Mike does make some nice stuff.

I love the Warlord chariots, nice to assemble and paint and they look rather honest to the eye.

Hi Garry, it's a slow burner- I'm waiting for crew to come back from my painter mate, then I'll get my skates on. In the meanwhile I'm having a bit of a holiday and painting what I fancy; currently Goths, and Greeks.

Ngel, yes they are the best aside from Relik's IMHO, and way ahead of the rest of the competition.

Cheers, Simon
