Not wanting to miss out on the 200th anniversary of the famous battle of Borodino, we're planning on hosting three scenarios that represent the conflicts around the Fleches, the Redoubt and the Utitisa Kurgan. The tables will cover an area of 180 SF, and there will be close to 6,000 figures involved. I've posted some information on the tables themselves, and some photos of some of the Russians from my own collection which will be engaged. I'll be posting additional information the actual scenarios and the terrain in the next few days. Please drop by the site to check out the details [the photos are thumbnails, click them to enlarge the image].

A great looking game – that is one crowded battlefield!

@Poniatowski
Thank you… we were pleased with the look of the tables too, and the games were a blast. The Fleches reported a major French victory, with Compan's division turning the Russian flank south of the Fleches, whilst Dessaix's division took the southern fleche itself, as Ledru's division threatened the northern fleche.
I was too busy to notice the actual combat flow on the Utitsa table, but it reported a major Russian victory, with 33% losses amongst the hard fighting Poles and Westphalians.
The Redoubt table reported, following fifteen turns of play, a minor Russian victory. The French had taken, then lost the redoubt, and finally secured it through the efforts of the Italian Velite regiment. The 9eme Ligne lost an eagle in the redoubt, and their division commander was severely wounded as he clambered through one of the gun embrasures. Barclay de Tolly almost fell too – but that the bullet was fated for another Russian commander. Schulmann commanding the 26th Battery in the redoubt was captured during one of the combats within the redoubt.
We're working on more detailed results, and pictures will be uploaded as we sift through them picking the most dramatic.

@Lord Ashram,
I hope you got a chance to see the Perry wagon – it was there, but due to rear table area restrictions, and congestion on the battlefields themselves, may have been hidden away somewhere on Saturday
