Hi all, Been working on these for a little while in between other projects. I put a test figure together earlier this year but have tweaked the dims etc and overall look. Also these are multipart figures. The lower body comes in 2 parts, the torso is separate and finally the head is on a ball joint so you can pose as you see fit. This is just one combo but there are 8 lower body sides in the works (4 left and 4 right) which are all interchangeable, lots of torsos with different weapon options and lots of heads
Thought I'd share Cheers Adam |

Would I be correct in guessing that these are 28mm? They sort of remind me of a cross between a lizard and an armadillo. |

Looks very nice. Especially love the rifle design. You should sell those separately. Would like to see these done in 15mm scale. |

Reminds me of an anorexic or juvenile version of an Imperial Marine from one of the Ensign Flandry novels, only that Marine was actually more like a cross between a small dinosaur and a rhino sans horn big enough that there was a second (human) Imperial Marine manning a small magazine-fed RAM howitzer on a powered turntable mounted on the ET Marine's armored centauroid back. Don't recall what the ET Imperial Marine was packing, but I suspect it was size-appropriate for this hulking member of the assault team Flandry led in the climax of that particular novel

"How tall from the ground to the top of its head?" What he said. |
tnjrp | 22 Oct 2012 10:19 p.m. PST |
Maybe that's a secret in the grand tradition of the industry d-:) The gun looks to be CAD gun #12 which is a little over 30mm in length according to HF site. Nice mini but I'd prefer it to have more techy bitz than just the gun and the headset. |

Hi, He's 42 mm from ground to top of his head Cheers Adam |
John Treadaway | 23 Oct 2012 5:09 a.m. PST |
Cool but we need them in 15mm as well !!! He is 15mm sized: he's a sentient, roughly elephant sized centaur carrying what – for humans – is a light anit-tank gun. And he wins all his arguments
Superb sculpt, by the way John T |

I have heard of something like this before
goats, boats, moats, votes, ahh
roats? maybe stoats? perhaps kroats? It'll come to me eventually
Anyway, a comparison shot with a, shall we say GW space marine, would be quite helpful. Of course the 15mm version is also mandatory. |
whiffwaff | 23 Oct 2012 12:21 p.m. PST |
Will pop a picture up of one these boys next to a GW Imperial guard tomorrow (no space marines around I'm afraid) There will be a big update tomorrow for those of you interested. Cheers Adam |

oh well way to big for what I would want, better if they were only as tall as a 28mm man or a head taller. Nice work anyway good luck. |

He is 15mm sized: he's a sentient, roughly elephant sized centaur carrying what – for humans – is a light anit-tank gun. Looks like I'll get that Flandryverse giant centauroid Imperial Marine SP howitzer rig after all
Mwahahahaaa!!
And he wins all his arguments
That would be my Khurasan Garn "Flesheater" Sergeant Major Crunch. My JTFB regiment's senior NCO got his nom de guerre after what happened to the first and only private who ever backtalked him

After much swearing and teeth gnashing
I finished of the bodies
All interchangeable, 3 left and 3 right sides. Working on the torsos now. |
TheBeast | 24 Oct 2012 8:42 a.m. PST |
Posleen, hurrah!! From the artwork I've seen, K'kree would seem closer to the mark, though proxy'd possible for any of the above, even Kesrith, in a pinch. Doug |
Farstar | 24 Oct 2012 11:38 a.m. PST |
These look nothing like K'kree. There has been exactly one good K'kree mini in any scale: the Grenadier Alien Mercenaries version. Leland is thinking of Wodenites, seen as Marines by Flandry and as the pacifist crewman Adzel in the Falkayn stories. |
TheBeast | 25 Oct 2012 5:22 a.m. PST |
Actually, Marc Miller sold me some original GDW K'kree art work. That is closer than any other images mentioned. I'll see if I've still got some of his sale scans around. Doug |
Farstar | 25 Oct 2012 9:37 a.m. PST |
I have every published picture of the K'kree. This is too long-bodied, no transitional hump (which gives K'kree a slope-backed look even while that portion of the spine is horizontal), and of course the scales, big toes, thumbs, and overly heavy limbs. They're called K'kows for a reason. |
whiffwaff | 25 Oct 2012 11:46 a.m. PST |
These chaps have just received some heavy support
As before the body is two side and interchangeable, the torso is on a ball joint as it the head. Lots more to come in the next few days as a whole load are being finished up. |

watching intently, who is planning on selling these in there final form? |
whiffwaff | 31 Oct 2012 10:40 a.m. PST |
I meant to get these up earlier this week but have been a bit busy with a few other bits. Any-hoo
A load of of updates. ALL WIPs These guys will initially be released (details of where you can get them to follow) in squads of 4. There will be 5 squad variants with different ranged weapons, then there will be a commander figure and a support weapon. Would like to add some close combat troopers, maybe a mage type figure etc. Remember the bodies are 2 part and are completley interchangeable, the torsos fit all the bodies and the heads are on ball joints and fit all the bodies
so lots of variety for you. Bear that in mind when you look at the photos though, the minis are held together with puty, the final join once glued will be much closer. So first up an example of a Bio-weapon armed trooper:
Rifle 1:
Rifle 2:
Rifle 3: Still Being worked on
Pics to follow :) Rifle 4: This is an example of how a squad will look.
Support Weapon:
And finally a quick shot with another manufacturers figure to give you an idea of size.
Hoping to have the rest of the squads finished and the Commander done over the weekend / early next week. Cheers Adam |

Those look really cool. Would love to see a space-suited variant too, wearing a full environmental helmet. Will want some in 15mm scale also. |

These will be Posleen for me. Ant chance of a grav sled of some sort? Hmmm actually I have a few old 40k Chaos "sleds", whatever they're called. Good work and please get 'em done! :-) |

Any more word on this project? As for the scale, I'll have to go back and check the official source, but I thought Posleen were horse size, not elephant size. And they do look about right for 28mm! Have you considered doing a kick-starter on this? |
