Recently finished a game featuring my Battle of Voltri April 10, 1796 scenario. This battle or small action on the Ligurian coast had General Bonaparte's eastern most division near Genoa at the start of his grand 1st campaign in northern Italy. General Beaulieu marched his Austrian battalions over the Ligurian alps, past Genoa's outskirts, to encounter GB Cervoni at Pegli and a small village called Mele. Interesting small game scenario with two detached game table fronts and mostly infantry.
Complete Voltri scenario AAR written up at this link: link

This Saturday, at the HMGS-PSW October Surprise historical miniatures convention (Azusa, CA), I will have the follow up battle of Montenotte (April 12, 1796). HMGS-PSW information at: hmgspsw.org
The Montenotte plus a bonus Monte Negino scenario (design and notes) found on same blog site: link
Pictures of Voltri action:
Once the convention game is completed, I will write up the AAR for Montenotte in about a week.
Additional game pictures or slideshow found on the above links. Next scheduled battles after Montenotte will be Dego (both days) and working out Mondovi to finish off the initial battle series. Since I did a small scenario for Monte Negino it is only fair to think about Cosseria for the French attempt at fortified positions.
Cheers from the warren,
