I just received an order of plastic discs for rotors for my modern hordes from Hurlbat.

hurlbat.co.uk

I just have to say that they are wonderful! They even replaced my order because it never made it.

These look really good- far superior to my homemade efforts…..

On the strength of Baddaski's post above, made an order for a variety of rotors and some plastic bases – items arrived the very next day, and were nicely cut – certainly look the part – very pleased so far.

What a great idea – shame they stop at 1/100.

Sorry, late to the party. We can supply rotors in larger scales than 1/100, I just haven't listed every possible combination. If you have a requirement please contact us via the website and I will try to accomodate. Basically we should be able to do diameters up to 300mm which should satisfy most models that you can't actually ride in :)

Oh, and thanks for the flattering comments above <blushes>

Roughly, how much more expensive would rotors be in 1/72 scale compared to 1/144?

Also, would there be any issues with regard to weight of the plastic of that diameter?

These look very good and I would certainly be interested in some for the 1/72 helos I use with my 20mm figures

Hurlbat Games23 Feb 2013 10:19 a.m. PST

A 1/72 HH53C rotor would be about the biggest I could imaging being able to do and I would think that would be about 280mm diameter. Assuming that is okay in 0.5mm it would probably be about £3.50 GBP, all others would be the same or cheaper.

I have just received the first order for 1/100 scale rotors including one HH53C and feedback from that should indicate if the plastic will be thick enough.
