Yes, they have to do some reconnaissance missions with those "colorful" uniforms…that's why the losses were so heavy, fatigue, harassment and losses due to fire. The unit was therefore disbanded at the end of august 1914!

what a beautiful cavalry units mounted in 1914. Unfortunately, a few weeks later, frames serve as food for the infantry …
