I had a chance to photograph my tropical trading post model about which I'm writing a future modeling article. I thought I'd post a few shots to the Pulp Figures gallery.

You can see all of the shots here at the bottom of the gallery:

The model is a two story building. The second story and roof both lift off and the interiors are accessible. The trading post interior is a resin kit I purchased a long time back so I forget the manufacturer. (Anyone recognize it?). The interior is built on its own thin piece of flooring so it can lift out. The sign above the front porch is reversible with ‘Gold Monkey Bar' displayed on the other side.

I also decided that this type of building needed a large front porch for spending those long tropical evenings leaning on the railing, gin and tonic in hand.

I think the interior is from Ainsty?

You are tempting me go go back and finish my final ten rocket troops. Both airborne and grounded versions to go with the five I already have finished.

Very nice work. It gives me malarial chills just looking at it.

That is very realistic. Well done. Great looking figures in that range.

I think you had this building with you at Trumpeter Salute 2011? It was basically finished, structurally, but you hadn't started painting and detailing.

Looks great finished, hope to see you at TS 2013 next spring!
