Personally, I would have mounted my Indians so they look like a mass of irregular horsemen instead of a regiment of dragoons on parade. The whole thing just looks odd to me.

This is very cool! 10mm isn't my scale but it does look great!

Thanks,

John

I was just thinking today of running a game using Force on Force core rules, with my 15mm Plains Wars figures.

I agree with the 79thPA…the Indians are too ordered on their stands. The minis and the terrain look very good though.

…So the Plains Indians were not only the best light cavalry in the world, but also the best drilled? And the hills look a little carbuncular. But it's good to see Ian Beck's Pony Wars gettinf an airing again.

That game has been around for over 30 years!

And this game was at Derby last weekend. In the flesh the regulrity of the basing is less apparent, due to sheer numbers of them!

I've always wanted to play 'Pony Wars' ever since I read my Dad's copy. It was one of those games where I never knew how I would get all the figures together for it, it requires so many! Perhaps one day…..

Drat. Now I might need to buy those Blue Moon Old West figures…

Quite inspiring.

Played this at Partizan, Newark… Great fun.
Brought back memories of Ian Beck's game all those years ago.

Eric,

Kurt and I have enough in 28mm to make this work.

Whether French Dragoons or a horde of Cheyenne's, I bet your corn-shoot would still pucker up if they were coming at you.
