Also what makes WD3 such a good forum? Does it specialize in particular type of content? I know that the battle games guys were posting their stuff for imagi-nations there. |

There's quite a bit of H&M Imagi-Nations, because the (now annual) WD3 meet & game weekend is centred around a large Imagi-Nations game. These weekends are quite tied-in to Battlegames magazine, because they're umpired by BG's Henry Hyde, who didn't know what he was getting himself in for when he innocently clicked on WD3.
We use his (excellent)H&M ruleset – "Shot, Stone & Steel" -and the games are covered in BG. Theme for 2013 is "Not-ACW", small dash of VSF optional. |

It's low key, fairly small. There's a strong 18th century element. Some very knowledgeable people regarding AWI etc.
The banter and abuse is all good natured. Most of us like & respect each other despite the libelous things we accuse each other of. Those that don't like each other know it and leave each other alone.
Hopefully Purple can recover some of the resource info from the Forummer site as there is some really good stuff there. |
