Had a great time at Nav-con this year. About a half dozen of us made the drive from the Twin Cities to Milwaukee (about 6 hours across our lovely neighbor state of Wisconsin). I've posted a couple photo sets of this year's offerings on my Flickr page, which you can see here: link Regards, Jeff warartisan.com |

Thanks for sharing the photos. I like the water effects in the Ironclads game. |

Once again a big "thank you" to Mark, Ron and Tom and the rest who make Nav-Con possible. Also a thank you to Jeff for the photos and introducing me to the con. This is a great small, specialist convention that concentrates on naval and naval aviation gaming and fulfills it's objectives perfectly. In addition, it was a great excuse to get down into Wisconsin, load up the car with different craft beers to be enjoyed at later ATF games. It also was achance to revisit the St Francis Brew Pub a first class watering hole that is just up the road from the Con. |

I like the water effects in the Ironclads game. That was really simply done. The river was blue felt covered in a sheet of clear plasic. Simple but very effective. |

Great stuff Jeff. I wanted to go this year very badly, but was just too swamped with "life" to make the trip. |

Nice. Ican now prove that I was there since my foot is featured in a pic! Had great fun with Rogers's floor game. Once hit on turn 2 my cruiser burned for most of the turns thereafter on a critical which I rolled myself. 4 percent per turn. Limped off at six knots at game end. I take comfort that mine was the only kraut cruiser left. David went down with his ship. Steve brought the thunder and blew up on a critical die roll of "45." I left my Get Out OfCritical Damage Card home. Dang |
