Ooh, another excuse to buy gzg's votoms. (I'd include germy's mini mechs in that statement, but I already own those lovely things) |

That looks pretty neat. Never seen mechs that small. Nice job on the buildings. |

That's looking very good. only one comment on the rules is that the heavy mechs have a combined range and move of 12 hexes, whereas light and mediums have a combined move and range of 11 hexes. In open terrain this would give the slower heavies an advantage. |

I actually think the rules work perfectly as regards the Light/Heavy range and movement rates. A lot of people do not realize that modern tanks can generally move faster than their lighter APC/IFV consorts
and of course their weaponry is heavier and longer-ranged. In other words, in open terrain, a Heavy-class element *should* outperform a Light-class foe. It is more realistic and may work to naturally avoid the paradigm seen in Battletech where a Light 'Mech can reliably challenge a Heavy or Assault in a duel because of the way movement and ablative armor conspires together. (and I say this a BattleTech fan since the 80s, not a knock on a good system and milieu). |

Really nice looking set up. 'What are the urban areas' made from? |
Rothgar | 09 Oct 2012 10:32 a.m. PST |
The city blocks are made from 60mm square bases with various wooden craft blocks and pieces glued to them. |
