Hi As the post title suggests, I'm looking for an overweight 18th Century Gentleman for a character model. Needs to be in 18th Century dress, i.e. wig, frock coat, etc. but standing up, so the Eureka ones won't do. Also, just after a single figure, so suggesting packs where one of six fits the bill (i.e. Wargames Foundry or West Wind) also not really an option. Ideally, I'd like him to be wearing spectacles and holding a book. Bit of a long shot, I'll admit. Anything out there like this? Or am I better converting a fat Heroclix figure (the Blob or Kingpin) to suit? Your assistance would be appreciated, as always. |

I know they come in pack of 4, but have you looked at the Front Rank ones? |

Thanks all. I'd already tapped Outpost and Front Rank for various other personalities (using gunners using portfire as 18th century wizards, complete with 'wand'). What I'm looking for is a miniature to represent Sir Humphrey Tweedle, who is kind of a cross between Tweedle Dum and Humpty Dumpty, so a bit portly, and is also the chief librarian/bibliomancer in the world I'm building. So, basically a well-fed scholar. The Eureka ones have the right sort of cartoony look, but I need him upright, rather than sitting. Unarmed, as well. Notary Dante from Wargames Foundry (CIV3) is the nearest 'fit', but I only need the one figure, rather than the whole pack and am not perared to pay £12.00 GBP for one figure that I need. Games Workshop take note! |

I think I still have the stout fellow on the upper left from the Blue Moon Duellists set. I'll take a look tonight when I get home.
