A question for someone more knowledgeable than myself. A pal bought two packs of minis at a bring and buy recently. The first pack was 175025 Mystics Champions, The Super Miniatures, by Soldiers & Swords. The second pack is by Rafm Fantasy, Skracks Birdman Warriors. Simply does anyone have a clue as to how these figures are supposed to be painted, I've searched the net and can't find any info at all. Thanks
I hope? |

These minis never had a studio paintjob – they're from before such things. The Skracks appear to be similar to D&D Aarakocra: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aarakocra The Champions minis are generic supers. This pack seems to take some inspiration from Dr. Strange and maybe the infamous Power Girl. Both packs were intended to be used for imaginative gaming without stepping on anyone's trademarks, so you can do whatever you want without offending any button counters. On an unrelated note, has anyone done OD green stormtroopers just to watch some unwashed fanboy's head explode? Unless you were looking for a discussion on priming, painting, and sealing lead minis, in which case I prefer gesso and acrylics. |

Thanks for the heads up Rubber Suit! That makes it a little easier. |
