Phil,
Good looking game!! One question you have women that play Napoleonics? You are lucky men.

Hi John,
Women is a little bit exaggerated…only one woman just now! In 25 years, we have seen only two women playing in our club. In fact it is very pleasant…and yes, we are lucky!
Thanks for the comment,
Phil.

Great action report and miniature collection. Interesting to see you use roughly similar sized miniature formations to our games and not the "big block" formations of modern rule sets.

On the lady gamers front:
Yep. A small lady cadre of occasional gamers in Napoleonics or WWI aerial join us in some of the games. One game a quarter is the average with 6-7 players including the cadre. Rules are simple for victory. They win or draw on the tabletop, it is ballroom or latin dance night for the entire group or a nice group dinner. If males win (including myself), we have another game scheduled next quarter. Ladies are ahead in the victory count over the recent years…. and they bring lunch or snacks to confound their opposite gamers (secret ploy no doubt). Seen many a game winning move / situation countered by a well placed comment / question…..sandwich and beer? And they tend to roll dice well for some reason….. nail polish?

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your kind words, it seems that the scale is about the same for us!
For the "ladies",as I said to John, that's very rare for us, we'going to try to keep her in the club…without beer or dance!
Thanks again,
Best,
Phil.
