link A scenario from the winter war in 1939-1940. Two Swedish crewed Gloster Gladiators attack a Soviet bomber raid as it approaches its target. |

Great battle report and photos. I really like the winter camo on the Soviets. It can be difficult to get it to look right. |

Nice report. I've done some Russo-Finnish scenarios with I16s and Fokkers. Early war planes are fun! |

Thanks. I find it hard to get nice painting on aircraft. I usually paint tanks and while drybrushing and washing works well on tanks it does not work that well on aircraft I think, as aircraft are much more well maintained. But just painting planes one color is a bit boring. So winter camo can be fun as it gives the chance to weather a bit as a lot of the winter camo paint was applied a bit haphazard. Yes, early war is fun. Lots of "crazy looking" aircraft. After the winter war I´m thinking of very early east asia with Chinese flown P26 Peashooters and early Japanese aircraft. Also north afrika with Cr32s, Cr42s and more Gladiators are in the works. |
