Your best bet for crew served are GZG: link link link They come with NAC troopers, but they aren't attached. Khurasan Miniatures does some as well

All of these are excellent choices. I have just abt all of them and they are well worth it. |

I have designed some small arms, but I'm not sure that they'll be usable. They would have to be printed from Shapeways in Frosted Ultra-Detail, and that material tends to be more brittle. I can upload some screenshots, though, if you're interested. I also have some pack-mounted heavy weapons here: link

Battlefront does sell LMGs on their website for modelling purposes (like adding extra MG34 to your halftracks) |

"GZG also sell some generic heavy weapons without crew" And, HOW UNEXPECTED!, more than HALF of the items are WITHOUT ANY PICTURE. Come on, how does the GZG-guy hope I can be convinced to buy his plasma guns/missile launchers without showing them to me? ANd I mean, he hasn't put them up for sale last week! I will never ever buy anything from GZG until he gets his s--- together and patches up a half-acceptable webstore, it's not 1999 anymore! |

Whoa, cease-fire, Moqwama! Take it to the Consumer Affairs board! |
Eli Arndt | 02 Oct 2012 8:33 p.m. PST |
Dude, email Jon at GZG about it instead of complaining on the forums EVERY TIME the company gets mentioned. -Eli |

I will never ever buy anything from GZG until he gets his s--- together and patches up a half-acceptable webstore, it's not 1999 anymore! Seems like you're the one missing out. I love my GZG minis. |

1) I have all rights to complain about a company's shortcomings, no matter how some people like it; anyway, this is the second time ever I complain about GZG's crappy webstore
the point is that their webstore is crappy for real. 2) If the GZG games-guy is any savvy about his line of work he has the duty to notice my protests and take action if he thinks his business is being damaged by the low quality of his webstore. |

He seems to be doing perfectly well without your business. And he has no 'duty' to listen to every grown man whine on a message board. Don't like? Don't buy. 15mm.co.uk also do separate crew served weapons. A bit retro in style but worth a look. Scroll about half way down. link |

The Rebel Minis turret set comes with a sprue with a HMG, MMG, Auto Grenade Launcher and Gattling gun. link The MMG is not shown, but it looks like an M240. |

Here are some of the small arms I've been developing. Haven't gotten them to a point where I can upload them to Shapeways, though.

Those designs are so wonderful they make me want to sculpt my own range of miniatures only to embed them in the resulting figures. Too bad I cannot sculpt to save my sorry rear. |

1) I have all rights to complain about a company's shortcomings, no matter how some people like it You always have a right to complain. He equally has a right to ignore you. I don't think I have ever been to a show where Jon's stand isn't 2-3 customers deep, so whatever you may think of his business model, it seems to be working well for him. 2) If the GZG games-guy is any savvy about his line of work he has the duty to notice my protests and take action if he thinks his business is being damaged by the low quality of his webstore. Think you hit it on the head there. "If he thinks his business is being damaged by
". Clearly, he doesn't :-) |

Wow Javelin98 those look great, I was going to order your reworked set of backpack mounted weapons but now I think I'll wait so I can add a set of these to.Are these going to be all in one set or are you planning more than one? |
Moqawama | 06 Oct 2012 12:05 p.m. PST |
geoff, I think I have expressed my point clearly enough and I have no intention of letting me be dragged in a quarrel by over-defensive manboys. |
Eli Arndt | 06 Oct 2012 12:18 p.m. PST |
I think you will find that Geoff is something of a veteran of this argument himself. As for being over-defensive, it would seem that nobody has been anything of the sort. If you consider opposition to your opinion based on evidence being defensive, then perhaps it is time for you to check your definitions. I would say that it is rather defensive to start calling names, though. No need to start playing dirty. -Eli |

Having no pics of the guns on the GZG site, woudn't stop me from getting their stuff! They do some fantastic minis! |
GeoffQRF | 06 Oct 2012 2:33 p.m. PST |
expressed my point Opinion, perhaps. Point? Debateable. over-defensive manboys Hardly appropriate. I could possibly even be regarded as a competitor rather than a 'man-boy', whatever that may be. |
