I recently attended a game convention in Des Moines, Iowa where I got to play WH "The Great War" in 28mm. I had a great time. My first experience with this level of conflict in this period. I was disappointed to find out the rule are no longer available. My question is does someone produce a similar set of rules?
Thanks |

As said above there are probably some copies around for sale from owners. We own the Chris Peers rules, Contemptible Little Armies - link |

Having been involved with the original Great War ruleset (as WH manager and contributor), I am now working on my own set, to support the WW1 ranges we sell link (NB We are about to add Woodbine Designs and Musketeer to the list!) No date planned for release (yet) but a first play test went well recently. (Notes in our forum where we also talk about other WW1 rules) Kind regards Rob Broom scarabminiatures.com warandconquest.co.uk |

Through the Mud and the Blood from the TooFatLardies is at a similar level, but a much better set of rules, IMO, which really brings out command and control and historical tactics. |

And it's neat to learn WWI small unit tactics, which aren't really reflected in popular media very well. |
