With the change in ownership of the Battlegames, my local game store in Sacramento, California is no longer able to get the magazine. They get Miniature Wargames from Alliance Game Distributors, but for some unknown reason, Alliance doesn't carry Battlegames.

I know I can get a print subscription from On Military Matters. & I know I can get an electronic subscription using the Atlantic's Exact Edition. But I want to buy a print copy from my local store to help support it.

& I've contacted Atlantic Publishing to ask for distributors & they were distinctly unhelpful, initially pointing me to On Military Matters even though I'd said that wasn't what I wanted, & finally telling me the contact person I'd reached only handled trade accounts.

So, if you're in the US, & purchase Battlegames in your local store, I'd appreciate it if you could ask who they get it from, & let me know.

Thanks in advance

Have you tried Jessica over at Viking Hobbies?
Or that new game shop on Arden yet?

OMM provides good service. That is where I get my subscription. I tried to buy a subscription on line through the Atlantic web site but the site would not accept my order. Several of my friends here in the USA had a similar problem. So I went with OMM.

Interesting how Atlantic does not seem to be user friendly when it comes to customer service. (based on your comment and on my own personal experience).

Der Alte Fritz – thanks for the suggestion. I've been trying to renew online, didn't work, sent an email, they said they know they have problems with it and asked for my phone number – which they've never called, possibly because it is trans-Atlantic. Of course, just making sure I am in the on-line database would also help…

I think Dragon's Lair in Austin and San Antonio carry it too.
