I added pics of my five Bavarian infantry units to my blog, with detailed uniform information: link
many more pics on the blog. Speaking of Bavaria, I note that today is pretty much smack dab in the midle of Oktoberfest there, which runs for 2 weeks, ending Sunday October 7th this year. There is also a short tale of my own brief visit to Bayern almost 40 years ago now. Ein Prosit! Peter |

Looking good. Always liked their helmets and cornflower blue. The flags with that checkerboard pattern that really stands out to my eye, very distinct on the tabletop. |

Nice painting and uniform detail, maybe it's the colour balance on the camera but the hands and faces look a bit of a strange colour? Maybe they've had more Maas beers than was good for them. Ah, Oktoberfest, what little I remember includes oompah bands, Paulaner Brau, a ridiculously high g rollercoaster, mentioning The War (but I think I got away with it) and telling a Bavarian that his trousers looked very stupid to win a beer stein, Polish lemon vodka (or possibly polish – likely dual-use) and ascending the down escalator. |

The flesh color is an old shade I no longer use, and you're right, it's a bit too "pink" in hue. Aside from the up close view with the camera, it's inapparent on the table top. The elevator mishap
more or less like going "aus" the "einfahrt"! Peter |

Very nice Peter. I wouldn't mind a few units of these myself! |
