I picked up a core set, and one of each expansion and quickly put them to the test in a really fun battle! Here's a few teaser pics but the full battle can be seen here: link

I'm not much of a space battle gamer, but your pics certainly make it look enticing. Thanks for sharing! |

Why is this under Collectable Minis Games? There's nothing random or limited-run about these figs. |

S'all right. I mention the CMG thing mostly because many people flinch away from "collectables" automatically, so lumping X-Wing into that category seems like a disservice to an excellent game. |

Yeah, I posted this late and didn't even think about the distinction! You're totally right though. I also forgot to X-post to Star wars! Do what? Fail on my part hehe |

I just hope the shops I visit in Canada have it during my hol there. |

I just picked up a few sets myself and I am very impressed by the ship models. Where did you get the "space background" from? |

Nice asteroids! Do you have a "how to"? |

I'm not sure how those were made, but you have a couple of different options: 1. the easiest, is to just buy some gray/black, or reddish brown volcanic rocks, if you don't have any to be found locally (you can spray the latter gray, or black, if desired, if you don't like the red/brown color). They usually sell this stuff at home improvement stores (where they have the other rocks), or places where they sell gas grills. 2. buy some sponges, and pull into pieces, and then spray flat black, followed by a drybrush, or lighter spraying of a dark gray. The black to get in the nooks and crannies, and the gray to highlight the surface. |

Guys really the easy way to make asteroids is bark chips for mulch beds. There is even a type that is rubber and they paint up quick. VR James Mattes |
