I played a French Resistance battle a few days ago. I used Memoir '44 and my 1/72 scale figures on a six by four table. The scenario was based on the Masquisards of Mon Mouchet, who fought against several columns of German troops during June 1944. Their aim was to prevent German reinforcements being moved to support the troops at the beaches.
