Well i finished up a full set of test tiles and towers and took them down to our FLGS. and ran two games on it tonight.
rebels:
Luke and biggs with R2 and R5

empire
Darth and two rookie TIEs, cluster missiles

6 turbo laser turrets.

mission: take out three turrets in 6 turns. the rebels completed it in 5 turns and splashed the two rookie TIEs.

Turret rules:
2 atk die with only crits counting
1 agility die
3 hull

went well but we allowed the rebels to target lock the turrets and I dont think we will do that next time. It was really fun and more to it than blowing each other into space dust.

some pics of it

I thought the towers would be bigger.

Given the ship cards-to-fig ratio in the boxes, I'm thinking I'll be using Micro Machines for most battles.

And the smaller MM's definitely would give the towers more menace. ;->=

In line to see the pain, Scott…

PS Missed you at Recruits. Thinking you might hit spring's?
