Had Darth's TIE bought out from under me while looking online last night. Sent a sad email to the seller, who tells me that it is indeed out of stock. Sounds like FFG has SOLD OUT of at least some of the X-Wing expansion ships already, and talk abounds of a "second printing". The force is strong with this one. |

My FLGS sold many copies the first night she had it. The guys in my club were cursing me as I bought the last Y-Wing booster. Last night she got a whole bunch more in. |

Whew! I knew I wouldn't regret knocking those small kids and elderly women down last week on my way to grabbing a core set and some boosters! |

It was to be expected. Star Wars fans are like crack babies. |

Oh crap. I'll bet the e-bay scalpers who screwed everybody over the Hasbro Titanium line have descended on these. |

Nothing but yawns over the game locally so far. Lots of boosters still on the shelf
But I attribute that to no one running/teaching demos yet. |

All the local Target stores are sold out, as are all the local FLGS. I ordered mine from Amazon. They had 6 left in stock when I did so. |

funny, i live up with the hillbillies and laid off coal miners in pa. and the local target has plenty. guess no one up here has heard of star wars. now if there was a coal miners vs hillbillies game

No, people in that area of the coal region think the best Episodes are 1-3, not original trilogy. Sad, really. |

Selling well locally, and seeing quite a bit of store play. Local store actually tripled his initial preorders, still doing okay on stock. Not hard to predict FFG's production pipeline issues, and plan accordingly. |

Haven't seen them in the local Target here yet. How much are they selling for there? |

This shouldn't surprise anybody. It's got the Star Wars name on it so folks are buying them up to hoard away in storage units, spare rooms and basements. Many of these will be auctioned off or sold at comic stores or conventions for insane mark-ups based on the rarity created by these same folks. You could put Star Wars on baggies of elephant and make a profit. -Eli |

All you will see at Target (as far as I can tell) is the base set, which will be in the boardgame area and not with the Star Wars toys. It will be $39.99 USD. Picked up one last night, plenty to be had. Now I need something that will generate Star Wars sound effects for me. Imperial and Rebel lasers, TIE Fighter engine screams, Vader breathing, and of course "I have you now." Astromech noises, maybe R2 screaming. |

Though at $15 USD for a each single ship booster me thinks FFG's is going to end up in the black due to this release. To get a full Squadron of 12 that is nearly $200. USD So at the moment I am not buying anything. |

One thing to remember is that each $15 USD ship booster has not only a hard plastic fully painted miniature, but also a movement dial, flight stand, multiple base inserts, multiple character/upgrade/reference cards, and 1-2 cardboard sheets of tokens. The packaging is also well designed that it is meant to be used as miniature storage, great for those oh so fragile X-Wing laser pylons. Not to mention it's a very good game. There seems to be a hipster effect going on where just because it's a good licensed game people hate it because it's actually mainstream. |
